TIANACOLES

Tiana Coles is a singer-songwriter, artist, figure model, and professional muse born and bred in New York City. She first became involved in the arts as a child, performing in dance recitals at BAM and Queens Theater in the Park. After being discovered at American Dance and Drama Studio, she was sent to audition for New York Talent and Abrams and booked her first major gig shortly after obtaining representation. Tiana made her Broadway debut in The Lion King as Young Nala, appearing with Broadway legends Samuel E. Wright, Christopher Jackson, and Lana Gordon. She later appeared in an early production of Radiant Baby at The Public Theater with Anthony Rapp. Tiana continued her education at The Professional Performing Arts School, the iconic PPAS which has produced notable alumni such as Alicia Keys, Sarah Hyland, Chris Trousdale, Justiin Davis, and…well…her. She graduated as a dance major via Alvin Ailey and went on to college to pursue a practical career path rather than her dreams.

For a time, Tiana felt she needed to abandon her gifts and what felt like a calling to survive, and found meaning in being of service in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging roles. At Apple, Tiana specialized in teaching accessibility and privately assisting individuals with disabilities to customize and master their devices. Tiana transitioned into the startup tech world, leading a DEI Taskforce, Employee Resource Group, and charitable initiatives for Girls Inc., Movember, One Tree Planted, ASPCA, National Coalition for the Homeless, and The Trevor Project, totaling over $500k in fundraising. Later she transitioned back into training, this time with an aim to bring the principles of inclusion into leadership, training over 2,000 executives and managers at the world's most innovative companies, tech startups, and venture capital firms, including Netflix, NBA, Zoom, SONY Interactive Entertainment, Billie, and monday.com, among others. She also volunteered as a crisis counselor with The Trevor Project.

Despite her time out of the spotlight, Tiana's creative imperative persisted. She began writing, producing, and recording her original music at 15, and while working jobs that paid the rent, slowly saved for the recording hardware and software necessary to build a home studio. In 2019, she began to reenter the music world, this time via jazz. She attended jam sessions and learned the art of improv and band leading in real time. In 2022 she finally manifested her home studio dream, and began recording original music at market quality. All the while living what she felt was a double life — Clark Kent at her day job, and Superwoman on stage at night.

Then personal crisis struck. In 2024 Tiana was diagnosed with breast cancer. After two surgeries and 16 rounds of radiation, she was declared NED (no evidence of disease). The experience served as a harsh reminder of the brevity of life, and Tiana vowed to spend her remaining time completely dedicated to her truest passions, come what may. Having started figure modeling on the side at The Cooper Union School of Art and Architecture a year before diagnosis, she has paused work as a nude model, but plans to return to tastefully taking her clothes off for money once her reconstruction is complete.

Tiana has appeared at Bia, Unit J, Drom, No More Café, and Sid Gold's Request Room performing original music, and expects the official release of her work on all major platforms imminently. She currently appears in LUX at Joe's Pub, a new musical by Lance Horne, and Sing With The Stars, an exclusive private room experience with Broadway performers. She is living happily in her little home on the 100th floor with her brilliant husband Atum Coles Plummer, and crazy dog Dizzy Gillespie Cornelius Coles Plummer.

She enjoys long walks on the beach, butter, and generally being iconic.
